Hunter (Play Test!)
Cost: 5 Exp, Requires: Survival
Required props;
prop furs, prop knife, prop traps, ledger, some form of jerky, trail ration, or hardtack.

You are a hunter! Able to track game, survive in the wild, set traps, endure the elements, and dress a kill!

Set Traps:
You may place at least four prop traps in the woods at least 50 meters from any active camp or road, each at least fifty meters from one another. Mark the time in your ledger, and inform a staff member you have placed traps. After at least three hours, check every trap, if a red ribbon has been affixed to any trap, you are not successful. If no red ribbon has been affixed to any trap, collect your source of trade good: fur, or trade good: meat. A trap may also be marked with a rare find - this will be indicated by an envelope affixed to one of the traps detailing its benefit. A rare find replaces the usual fur or meat.

Brief Respite: Once per day, a Hunter may regain a hit point by resting at least 5 minutes, drinking water, and consuming some form of decorum snack.

Investigate Signs:
Should some kind of monster, beast, or supernatural entity be in the area, a hunter may discern information by investigating clues left behind. Droppings, discarded feathers, tree scratchings, etc… A trade hunter card may be located to discern these clues, it will read either “trail” or “find,” A trail card indicates another trail or find card will be within roughly 25 meters, a find card will detail information on the creature in question.

Field Dressing: Certain monsters may produce valuable resources a hunter may acquire from their corpses. When a hunter encounters a dead monster, they may use a larp safe knife to roleplay dressing the kill. This process takes at least 5 minutes, and they should announce “Field Dressing,” and MAY receive one or more item cards in return. Not every creature will yield resources. Some materials may also quickly spoil and must be harvested immediately. If a monster departs an area to respawn or change roles, one must assume nothing of note could be harvested.
