Props Required: Decorum cookware and feast ware

A Chef may prepare high quality meals which inspire and restore. Meals prepared for the purposes of this ability should be served hot and contain at least three ingredients, take time to prepare, or otherwise be a good faith effort to produce a worthy meal. (For instance, an elaborate salad or sandwich.) Sovereign takes no responsibility for the safety of this food, and players must be made aware of that before partaking in any meal prepared by a Chef. Reminder: players are free to roleplay the consumption of food.

Great Meal: A character consuming a meal prepared by a chef may gain each of the following benefits up to once per day, and may gain one benefit per meal: they may regain a hit point, they may regain two points of mana, or they may reduce their next rest time to recover at a healer by half (once.) They may gain a different benefit by consuming another meal at another time but may not select the same benefit again the same day. The benefit of this meal must be explained by the chef to the recipient. The ultimate purpose of consuming food remains sustenance.

Worthy Leftovers:
On some occasions cooking may produce a relevant trade good: food. If a character has relevant trade good: food cards, they may at this time instead exchange it for a trade good: food (High Quality)

Multitasking: A character engaging in another trade activity may intermittently work on cooking as well, for instance occasionally stirring their stew, so long as food preparation does not exceed approximately 25% of the total time working on that trade.

High Morale:
Through cooking a hot meal, a Chef may offset event specific morale mechanics.
