Reeves’ Hill

Once known by another name, the Entadoran village of Reeves’ Hill was renamed in honor of Roger Reeves - a privateer and brother of the village’s newest lord Sir Taiga. The name also references the displaced people who once attempted to establish a settlement called “Birch Hill.”

The settlement is promising, located near the northeastern coast and far from any conflict with Astalore. Its thick forest is abundant in rare and valuable fungus, and the local creeks have been known to produce small amounts of gold when panned. Though some raise animals, and grow crops, many of the villagers make a decent living hunting and trapping animals in the forest and sell their furs at market for considerable profit. “The forest provides” is a common saying amongst the town folk.

Owing to its remote location and abundant natural resources, Reeves’ Hill suffers more issues with banditry than many villages of its kind, often as the locals brave the journey to bring their goods to market. This consideration more than any other limits the prosperity of this otherwise fast growing settlement.
