Kingdom of Entador

The Kingdom of Entador separated from Astalore in 353 in response to a strict crackdown on Primordial Worship - which is common among Entador’s nobility. The two nations were unable to reconcile these differences and have since distinguished themselves culturally. The sister nations remain bitter rivals to this day and wars between the nations are virtually constant.

Entador has not appointed a monarch since King Vaulcid and Queen Isabella were executed by the Salvatorian Empire in 499. During this interim, matters of state have instead been decided by Entador’s regency of high ranking officials from its most powerful feudal houses.

The Crown of Entador is an unsightly hollowed-out head of a horse decorated with gems and gold. It is worn like a hood and although preserved, has deteriorated somewhat over the centuries. It is said to be thick, heavy, difficult to breath in, and incredibly oppressive to wear. The Crown of Entador has been missing since King Vaulcid’s death.

Entador contends for control of the holy city of Servadova. Within the city, Retterbrand is enshrined, which is sacred to both Primordial Worship and the Church of Valra. Entador has warred with Astalore on numerous occasions to capture the city, or advance their strategic position to that end. As of 535, Servadova remains in Astalorian hands.

Soldiers of Entador are recognizable by their characteristic kettle style helmets, and green tabards. They prefer crossbows, short slashing weapons, polearms, and large shields. Their military rarely boasts impressive cavalry.
